About Pradeep Bansal
My parents must have been prescient. They named me Pradeep, which in Sanskrit means ‘one that blazes forth with light’. It is no wonder then that I was a gastroenterologist by profession, and I am now a photographer by passion. I love nature in all its forms and I would like you to see this beautiful world of ours through my eyes. I appreciate your time in looking at my work.
After working as a physician for over forty years I have now chosen to devote my time to the study and protection of wildlife. This is a new phase of life and a new career for me.
Although I am passionate about wildlife conservation in general, I am particularly interested in the welfare of elephants. They are incredible animals and play such a crucial role in their ecosystems! African and Indian elephant conservation is especially important, given the threats they face from habitat loss, human-wildlife conflict, and poaching.
I am making efforts for the protection of elephants through my photography - both in terms of presenting the beauty of these wonderful beings to the world and by generating awareness through the sale of my photographs.
Photography can be a powerful tool for raising awareness and inspiring people to support conservation efforts. I believe my work can bring the incredible beauty and majesty of the wildlife of our planet into the homes and hearts of people, encouraging them to go out and see it for themselves. I also hope that they will be motivated to support me and my efforts to make a difference.
I therefore pledge to donate all the profits from the sale of my photographs towards the conservation and welfare of wildlife worldwide.
